Chicken and cabbage


  • 1 lb of chicken tenderloins
  • 1 head of cabbage (shredded)
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or butter
  • 1 tsp adobo seasoning
  • 4 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 yellow onion (diced)
  • Salt and pepper


In a large pot on high heat add olive oil, onions, cabbage and garlic and stir occasionally while cooking the chicken. In a frying pan add a little bit of olive oil. Sprinkle adobo seasoning onto the chicken then add to the pan and fry on medium high heat for about 5 minutes. Go back to the cabbage and stir well. You may noticed some browning and that is okay. Just keep moving it until it has wilted down. Now flip the chicken and cook for another five minutes. Continue to stir the cabbage, once it has wilted well you can turn down the heat to low and stir in the lemon juice. Test the chicken to see if it has cooked through. If so serve and enjoy!
