Ingredients:

  • 1 pint heavy whipping cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 2 tbsp ginger
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon

Mix all the ingredients in a bowl until combined then pour into a gallon size freezer bag- remove all air from the bag and seal. Lay flat in the freezer and let freeze for 3 hours. You could also serve directly out of the food processor.

My notes on this recipe:

This turned out amazing. I love the honey and ginger together. It’s sweet but with a kick. Super creamy. What I love the most is that I know exactly what’s in it and exactly what isn’t! Homemade tastes so much better and it’s really quite simple to make even if you don’t have and ice-cream maker.
