Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal

2 cups oatmeal

4 apples diced

1 tbsp cinnamon

4 1/2 cups water

4 tbsp honey


In a pot on high heat add diced apples, honey, cinnamon and 1/4 cup water. Bring to a boil then let simmer until the apples are tender.

Bring heat back to high and add 4 cups water and two cups oatmeal. Bring to a boil and stir until thickened then serve!

My notes on this recipe: This is a nice recipe for a lazy weekend morning.
